Web sites for free images

Artist freebies
Cut out and keep
Bringing my laptop back tomorrow so  clearing up all the bookmarks. I found these last week and hadn't a proper chance to go through them properly but they look good!

New Beginnings

I used Creative Sketches Number 97 for this
Had no photos to scrap so I was rooting around in my photo box and came out with this one, I always loved it and since I did it when I first started scrapping I think it needed a revamp
This is how it looked when I first did it *cringe

And this is the one I did today trying to use as many techniques I am teaching for the class as possible!

2 cards

Few cards I made yesterday, nuffin special but my card supply had dwindled. Man I love that green button, it was a once off in a pack so I should have really kept it!

Altered Tiles

Yahhh got to play with alcohol inks yesterday and I love them!! Finally do something with the 500 extra tiles I have left over from the kitchen!
I used alcohol inks with the idea from Anne (Thanks Anne!) and then embossed my stamps onto then. Glazed with modge podge and easy peezy!

Sneak Peek

Of some of the emellishments we will be learning to make in the class on the 10th!

Alice in Wonderland Tag

I downloaded a brush for photoshop on Alice in Wonderland and just had to make a tag with it!
Yes I know the glossy accents isnt dry and the crackle had 2hours to dry and not much of a crackle...maybe forth time lucky!

The pages are actually a little amnesty international book and thought it was really funny because it was stating about peoples freedom to talk and not be imprisoned wrongfully lol
Shrink plasticed a lil clock and stuck a key on the fibres to finish it off

Easy-breezy DIY

He left me alone too long and when he came back found me sitting on the floor with the shelves we bought for my craft room. Used Basic Grey papers, 7 gypsies stamps and UTEE'd DIY letters. How cute is that lil spanner in the corner?

No shirt, no shoes, no problem

This is my grandad and his family on holiday in 1942 in Tramore. Combined my new love of tag making into this LO as a journalling tag, still don't think it's finished I tried on 3 different types of paper and grunge board last night to crackle the clock but just didn't work...so the crackle glaze saga continues...

Recipe Book

Not a very practical one mind! It's for Amy's birthday, shes lactose intolerant so I made her a mini cook book that she can make all the things she loves to eat in my house but sans lactose :)
My favourite page is "She always told me she would serve his balls on a tray" makes me giggle everytime.
For the amount of time put into this, sourcing the pictures and trying in vain to print up the recipes it came out not as I had hoped but you live and learn I suppose

Birthday Tags

DONT :LOOK AMY

Richies Birthday tag, I shrunk the little car to make a quick embellishment and used Mr. Tim's stamps to finish the look. Really need to get some back ground stamps and I was running out of time so wrapped some green paper along the bottom hoping it would distract attention away from being bare!

I had a book of old photos and dirty sayings that I was going to use as my wedding favours..so glad I didn't now and they are coming in very handy for tags, Amy loves fairies so I thought the stand up wings would be perfect for her!

Altered tags

Ok these tags didn't end in a tantrum and ripped up in the bin, I keep doing a queen of hearts on it when something doesn't go my way! Distress crackle paint is not my friend, or I just don't have the patience, after the bird started to crackle I heat dried it a lil then this huge abscess appeared on his head and popped like a spot, sickend.... so the poor bird has a hole in his head and no wing!
Tried grunge board for the first time, was very much like "meh it's just chipboard" but after I made the wings with it realised its pliable and great for utee'ing. I can see alot more grunge board wings coming into effect soon!

Mothers Day Card

Used the new butterfly stamp from papermania, just embossed and coloured in with distress inks. Spent so long on the butterfly I didn't do much with the card, oh well!

The Life cycle of a tag

Take one cream tag
Distress it so much it looks panic stricken
Add bits and bobs

Nearly finished my tags for the swap, just have to add the 3d elements now!
If you are on my team can you send me your address please? I have Natasha's and Louise's :)

Mona Lisa Tag

Anne sent me an excellent tag that completely inspired me and had to pop one out before I went to work. Used a sheet of photocopies for the Mona Lisa image and Mr. Tim's stamps, kinda pleased with the way it came out but some very obvious mistakes!

Left over kitchen tiles

I carefully measure tiles for my kitchen and misadvertently (is that a word) ended up with 3 extra boxes....
Stamped on with statz on and heat dried, covered in PVA, but now I know it works the possibilities are endless! Just need to get some coloured staz on!!

Zomberific

I have been meaning to do this LO for ages but just never got around to it. ACtually had alot of fun putting it all together:
Zombie finger blood marks (glimmer mist)
Die cut spider with metal web (just because I am a spider doesn't mean I can't have a bit of bling on me!)
Tim Holtz Web maks (thanks Emma!)
Embossed the edges of the haunted house with glitter
and the piece I love is the blood stained lil knife, how cute is that!!

Remember when...

Paper by Basic Grey and distressed with distress inks and the blue highlighted with china blue.
Hidden journalling behind the photo that you pull out with the cloud. The lil saying in the right hand corner is embossed with black glitter and very hard to read but it actually says "You make me smile all over my face". New inkadoo stamps that I got for my birthday with cute lil kid sayings, I think they are sweet!

Old timer card

Challenge I took part on from Cardznscrapz, the theme was a vintage distress card or LO with a flower embellishment. Since I still don't have my blending tool not much could be done with out me having a tantrum so before breakfast I squeezed this one out (lil bit of crafting before breakfast always makes the day turn out just fine!)

Mini crop with Anne & Phil

Gorgeous 1st tag made by Phil I think she may be hooked now! Anne's Tim Holtz inspired tag but not so much Mr Tim used as I forgot my stamp folder...D'oh!
Saw this in a back issue of Craft stampers and knew I had to try it! Might just use it as an inspiration picture for my scrap room

Box for a tag

Thanks Emma, it turned out perfect what I needed it for!

What do you see?

Hidden journalling behind the blue paper. It reads: Do you see the insecurity? The painful shyness? The want of a friend? Or just a girl who says hello and smiles like she always does..to pretend everything is ok...
Anne introduced me to shrink paper and I made this lil charm from a stamped image. Since I made them I have been carrying them around in my pocket because I like how they feel! Like uncooked prawn crackers I think :)

Didn't feel like doing a nicey nice Lo for this photo, journalled about how people at work make me feel.
