All the better to see you with
I saw this photo and thought of that saying straight away! As usual I was short on letters and ended up having to make every letter in BETTER! I triple embossed a bit of cardboard and stamped SEE into it, when it was cooled I restamped see with embossing ink and brushed on some lovely green eyeshadow! It's handy to be able to use all the gank eyeshadow you wouldn't normally wear :)
Pregnancy journal
I HATE my bind it all and it hates me (really should read some instructions on how to use it!) but this a pregnancy journal for a friend, quite like how it came out :)

Pre Father's Day Card
I didn't know he expected one!! He only told me on the fly in passing so of course I had to make one, not the best but I like the sentiment of the card!

Not all stories have happy endings
But this one does...
I needed a story to illustrate journalling for Saturday's class what better topic!!! It's a 2 pager, 1st page is a photo of a miscarriage book with a reminder letter for my first scan, journalling behind tag and the 2nd is the first scan photos and journalling behind the owl

Remember me?
Sorry for my absence lately, real life has been a rollercoaster. It's from suprise to find out I was pregnant, sickness as morning sickness hit hard and me and the couch became firm best friends, secrecy because I wanted to tell people but wanted to wait until 12 weeks. Then everything disappeared and I knew something was wrong. So last week it was like everything came hurtling to a finale, rang the doctor trying to ask if I was being overcautious but couldn't get through, rang VHI and I told her my symptoms she told me to go to a&e immediately. Because I was in so much pain, they thought it was ectopic so when they scanned me I felt relief when she said "The baby is in the right place" then silence... I knew in my heart that McLentil Pants wasn't going to make it, she said that because I was coming up on 10 weeks a heart beat should have been visible.
But the saga doesnt stop there, that was just the prelude..I put grieving on hold to focus on the courtcase on Friday. After 3 years I just wanted it over and the way the day panned out I could never have imagined it.
Surely that was the end of the bad luck..no unfortunately not. D was rushed to hospital on Saturday, his liver has stopped working and he had turned yellow. He was accused of being an alcoholic & drug user.... this from a guy who would begrundingly take a panadol. It's hard to stay optimistic but we are ignoring our own pain and trying to focus on each other.
So here we are, a week since it all begun and waiting on a plateau with everything resting on today.
D has his tests at 12 and hopefully we will find something out.
Waiting for my D&C tomorrow and I can begin to grieve properly.
And my final feeling is regret because I regret starting a pregnancy journal and scrapbook. This should have been a happy post showing my new LO's so my regret is that it has to end so suddenly.
Thanks for listening x

Finally...
I used the bind it all to punch holes in black card to make it look like a film reel and just used bits of embellishments I had around. For some reason the title stamp would not stamp so I filled it in with marker and went over with glossy accents, gives a nice raised title :) and not at all a mess....
I made the little girl look like an oopma ooppma on purpose.... it's very easy to mix up red and yellow in distress inks when the lids are off but she makes me smile because it looks like she is princess of the oopma oompa's lol
I got some crafting done!!
Some work from the class
Sorry it's so late girls, real life is mental!!
Louise's embellishments, I thought she was going to buy shares in shrink wrap by the end of the class
Cathy's altered bottle cap, I said alter it Cathy not give everyone the heeby jeebies!!
Jenny wasn't too impressed with her challenge of using no siccors but I'm still amazed how she got the pattern perfect..... Jennifer?
Ann's egg inspiration, if she could wear this lil fella see would, an inspiring tag *wish I was doing 12 days of Christmas now
Phil showing off her youthful looks and finally found a use for that gorgeous paper!
Some of Cathy's altered embellishments
Sorry I missed some of the girls work, I only remembered to take proper photos when everyone was gone!

Cut out and keep
Bringing my laptop back tomorrow so clearing up all the bookmarks. I found these last week and hadn't a proper chance to go through them properly but they look good!

New Beginnings
I used Creative Sketches Number 97 for this
Had no photos to scrap so I was rooting around in my photo box and came out with this one, I always loved it and since I did it when I first started scrapping I think it needed a revamp
This is how it looked when I first did it *cringe
And this is the one I did today trying to use as many techniques I am teaching for the class as possible!

2 cards
Few cards I made yesterday, nuffin special but my card supply had dwindled. Man I love that green button, it was a once off in a pack so I should have really kept it!
Altered Tiles
Yahhh got to play with alcohol inks yesterday and I love them!! Finally do something with the 500 extra tiles I have left over from the kitchen!
I used alcohol inks with the idea from Anne (Thanks Anne!) and then embossed my stamps onto then. Glazed with modge podge and easy peezy!
