Recipe book
A book I made it with the bind it all. I have a tilda stamp that I was going to put on it but it didn't look right I will try it with the other one I made. I see lots of Christmas presents being recipe books!

As gaeilge... umm hmm can't speak a word so I could have said anything on it and not have known!
I heart all things mini at the moment, like the lil scroll, how cute is that!! I ordered a mini baking set on ebay for the recipe books I'm making and they can't come quick enough 3 hours 45 minutes since I paid for them...huuurrry!

Cards
Whoo ate it
My love for garlic is well known and my garlic pot is rarely empty so when this happened I had a lil panic attack.
The journalling reads: I knew my garlic obsession had reached its highest point when I had a panic attack because the garlic pot was empty and one lone solider was all that was left
D questioned me putting the owl on and I was like "You know...whoooo ate it" Ya he says "still doesn't make sense" Ohh any excuse to use that die!

Creative Scrappers Sketch 78
I love this blog, it gives me so much inspiration and their new sketches come out on Sunday which just happens to be the only day I can scrap, coincidence I think not!
I used an idea I saw from Kathy, where she cut really thin strips of paper until it looked like curly fibres, mine aren't as curly as hers were but it just proves a point I can't curl anything!

2nd Calendar tutorial
* 12" x 6" Strip of thick cardstock or cardboard
* 5¾" x 4½" cardstock front cover
* Photo mat - approx 3½" x 4"
* Patterned paper and scrapbooking embellishments
* button or brads plus extra embellishments
* adhesive - glue stick or double sided tape
* paper trimmer, scissors or craft knife
* Calendar months printed onto paper (not thick paper or cardstock)
Take your strip of cardstock. Score a fold at ½", 1½", 2½" and 7¼" down the length of the strip.
Fold the strip to create the base of our calendar as in the picture below. Use double sided tape or a glue stick to adhere the ½" tab inside of the back cover.
Once you have the body assembled you can put it aside while you create the calendar front.
Take your 5¾" x 4½" calendar front cover and embellish with a photo mat and the calendar. Lay the months on top of each other on the calendar front and use a piercing tool to pierce a hole or two through the lot. Use brads or a button to attach the calendar to the cover. When the month is over you simply rip it our ready for the next one.
When you have finished embellishing the calendar front attach it to the Body.
I can't put the one I have up because it is my sisters christmas pressie (you aren't getting a sneak peak Amy!)

Altered Albums
Fairies of Idune
Amazing the difference a few months can make
and when you learn some new techniques, I redid some of my older LO's from the wedding and because the photo quality is so good its hard not to do a good LO!
This was the first LO I did with this photo
And this is the one I did yesterday, it's pretty much the same sketch just some new elements in it like the journalling tag
*thinks twice about re-doing her whole wedding album

Pandasauras
Desperately it in the mood to scrap and I don't want to make cards for a while again, they just don't make the inner core happy! This is an old photo(well 2 years) that was taken in Dublin Zoo when we couldn't find any animals to take a picture we saw a rare pandasaurus. The journalling reads: A friendly creature that lives in bushes, defensive when frightened, loves broccoli not peas, doesn't have sugar in tea when having a biscuit...
Used my new owl die cut (aint he a cutie) and some other bits I have lying around, embossed the stamp at the bottom, its another (new) minds eye stamp, I love their sayings!
