Does Marriage tie you up or down?
My friend got some wedding ribbon out of the car during the wedding and tied himself and the best man up, the series of photos is one that will always make me smile from the day! And at the end his uncle just appeared behind him and we never noticed until we saw the pictures!
When everyone reads this title they dont get it!

Stealing photos from real albums
Sizzlix
After waiting so long for it and then buying the alphabet cutter (that didn't fit might I add, follow a 2 week wait while waiting for an adapter from ebay) for my sizzlix.... its such a pain in the ass!! I feel like a monkey turning my jack in the box, so while I am doing it I keep cringing thinking something is going to pop out and frighten the life outta me! Anywho, I spent a few hours Sunday cutting different colour alphabets out ( I had himself eating tictacs for the last week so I could use the containers, he now has diabetes), hunched over the table and looking for each individual letter was paaaaaainnnful! Maybe I would be just cutting as I need and I thought I was being self-suficient!
I tried my first 2 page LO because I couldn't fit the photos all on one page and I think I might do a few more, it was great fun and I love the look of it *tooot tooot (me blowing my own horn!)

Scrapedia no 3
Friendship is the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring all right out just as they are, chaff and grain together, certain that a faithful friendly hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping and, with a breath of comfort, blow the rest away.
Ok I'm running short on ideas now for this thing! Id say it will be a monster of an album!
Any ideas what else I could use? Someone had a great idea to look at your own town like a tourist and make a book on it... hmmmm

Exploding box
OHH my god, so much fun to do but when you are challenged and can't cut a straight line, it does pose a problem! Great idea for a present, I gave one to my MIL for christmas and she loved it!
Here is where I learned how to do it: http://craftydaisies.com/2007/01/30/exploding-scrapbook-box/#comments

Wedding album
le
I actually prefer looking at my scrap wedding album than the one I spent nearly 2k on!
I had a good few pieces left over, like invites and save the dates so I managed to fit them in. I'm a dreadful hoarder and hold onto everything so I had loads to go on!
I cut the flowers out from the save the dates and the little picture of us was one we got from Vista Print I was going to use for the tables but decided against it (he didn't like his hair lol)
I wanted to start with an elegant album but as you can see it definitely didn't turn out like that, but its me and I love it!
Scrapedia
My albums of 2009 will not be just random, I'm doing a scrapedia, an album in case I loose my memory and the scrapedia will explain all. There is one with a schauzer defining schauzer and Diablo himself, an explanation why leaves change colour and fall off and the last one I did today was a friendship defination! I'm going to try and make an album... should be fun!!
Other vintage photos
My great granny on her 21st
My nanny on her nurses graduation
The birth of my mother
My grandad gave me a usb key full of pictures from his childhood, pictures of my great granny, important pictures like when she graduated as a nurse, courting pictures and I love the thought of scrapping them to keep them alive so to speak!
First post!
I've reached a scrap block lately so I'm trying all different methods to get me out of the rut, from scrap lifting, alternative photos and bringing my camera everywhere to get new inspiration! I hope I can give someone else in the same position some ideas and help too! Because I've loads of pictures done I will just post a few each time and explain them.
This is my granny and grandad in about 1954. I love vintage photos but with my colourful LO's it's hard to make them look in the era!
