Such a nice photo I don't know why I didn't scrap it before. Borrowed Emma's Tim Holtz masks for the clock and stamp a love definition on the flower which I never thought to do!

Altered Tag

Inspired by Anne at the Mayo Paper Craft club I had to try one of these last night! I embossed the swirl in silver then I just used blending inks and a makeup sponge to put the back ground colour on. I need a few more mid tones for the background stamps then stamped the black love finishing it with a heart embellishment. Not bad for something that used to be a box....

Got this idea from another blog http://thescraproomblog.blogspot.com/ and saw that Char on cardz'n'scrapz gave me the idea to do it. The top and bottom of the page are stamped and embossed with the words create, imagine, dream, inspire but the camera didn't pick them up

Altered album

Went to Mayo Paper Craft crop today, met some lovely ladies and learned so much. I realllllly want to get into altered art and Cathy set the challenge of altering a shoe box, I accept! Really happy with how this turned out, it was just a plain material album that I got in Tk Max yesterday. The C is triple embossed and then stamped on after!

Mini-crop with just me and Grainne but got loads made! Might have restored my faith in making cards huzzah!

This LO will break my camera

under no setting or lighting would it focus and take a decent picture!
It's called some of the best nights don't break the bank.
I tried using acyclic under the photos and I'd say on cardstock that isn't so psychedelic you would be able to see it!

Huffing and puffing

I finally got to scrap a LO, it was off a 24 hour LO contest for creative scrappers (man I love that blog so I'm following them on facebook now!)

Fact or fiction

I've run out of people to scrap so I've started on the ghosts! Love all the texture on this LO with the thin wire I used to lace up the rip and a ribbon that I distressed and it looks like smoke. Tried masking for the first time but only had a lil white stamp so it wasn't as effective as I would have liked

The Art Of Crochet

is a hard one to master when you can't read instructions! Thank god for youtube and it's tutorials.
I started with a square that turned into a trapozoid so gave that up and made some pretty flowers.... the first one was meant to be a 5 petal flower and ended up being a 9 petal..go figure!

Snow

Some close-ups I got of the snow on Christmas Eve, Diablo followed close by not quite sure what was sticking to his paws but posed for a moment as if he was jealous of me taking photos of inanimate objects and not him...

I loved all my presents they were all so thoughtful but these where unexpected and I totally wanted them!

Frosty Pictures

Well I always wanted a white Christmas and well...it didn't live up to the expectation! It was slippy, cold and people unable to travel and it wasn't enough to build a snowman, what fun is that :( Still haven't a chance to give my new camera a try so maybe over the next few days

Christmas Party

Well I think it's a sign of a true scrapper scrapping the pictures that gave you the hangover that made your hands shake so much you had to pretend you meant to stick the picture on upside down.... good night, good night!

Is what Diablo was totally thinking while he was munching on it! (AHHHH I've turned into one of those sad dog ladies and that's all I talk about.....)
Suppose I better do one of him to keep him happy! It's from his birthday and the coin are caught mid air as I threw them at him! Used once upon a time stack from DCVW, man I love that paper and find it very hard to use!

Paper roses

Whoever came up with this idea is a GENIUS! Unfortunately, that would not be me. I found a tutorial for these awesome roses over at;

So I take NO credit at all for this! I just love them and wanted to share!

You need 18 hearts
6 x 2 1/4"
5 x 2"
4 x 1 3/4"
3 x 1 1/2"


I inked all the edges with two different shades of darker red. You can also use acrylic paint or chalk. Punch a tiny hole at the bottom of every heart.



Take a brad (in the same color) and turn it upside down and start putting all the hearts through it.Start with the smallest hearts and work your way up.


Now the magic starts: take petal by petal and scrunch them up and around towards the middle. Don't be gentle here; the more manhandling the better!


Then, bend the petals back out as much as you want. Depends on how much you want the rose to be open.
Last step is to spray the rose with glimmer mist
