Some new stamps

I put an order in with http://www.inkylicious.co.uk and was so disappointed to find they didn't deliver to Ireland until D reminded me I could use Parcel Motel. I got some lovely stamps but had to try this one out straight away, I love the shadow effect. I distress inked some card and stamped the image on it. Mounted it on gold card and put a sentiment on it, tarrrr-darrrrr very easy card so I made 6 of them lol I feel I want to send cards to everyone for everthing this year, cards like "Thanks for giving me a pooper scooper when I ran out" stuff like that.....

New home card

A request from my mother usually entails a "make a card for so and so, I need it in 1/2 hour" I used to jump to these requests until one day I found a stack of them on her kitchen window and a pile of bad excuses "I didn't go to the wedding, the baby is a toddler now, I didn't get a present so I could just give a card" I made this card for her new neighbours who she doesn't know their name so I insisted she get to know them. I'd love neighbours who I could talk to & would be so happy if I got a handmade card to welcome me to the neighbourhood (if any of my neighbours are reading this take note!)
Little people stamp was the free one from craft stamper this month, I can see this being used loads!

Using old stash

I do feel I was a bit decadent over the Christmas using full 12x12 for little bits of paper so I made some cards using one stamp and some of the scrap I had. TFL :)

Stocking up my card pile

Tim Holtz Tree die embossed with a chequered die, hand cut hills and a PTI greeting stamp

PTI tree die and buttons, same as before. Waltzing mouse sentiment

A Rosie Posie PTI stamp (love this set!) and covered in glossy accents

My new waltzing mouse stamps, perfect for Eli scrapping and boys cards. I stamped a load out and coloured them in with watercolour pencils. Such a cute set and perfect for little boys!
