Lucky to have each other

I loved both the B& W and colour photo so I used both of them. Tim Holtz flower dies used, just inked and crinkled them and PTI buttons. The strip at the bottom is a sheet of music paper Emma gave me ages ago and it was just torn and inked. The music imprint was from the Tim Holtz range and perfect pearls brushed into clear ink. LO loosely followed from Creative scrappers LO this week :)

Bringing home the bread

Back when Eli was the size of a tiger loaf! Still trying to get used to scrapping for boys....man it's hard!

Just like papa

Working my way through mountains of photos, some are crap quality but too funny not to scrap! Paper is a cheap stack I had and some Tim Holtz strips.

Routine

The best thing we have done to date.... routine. It's working great and we are all getting 8 hours sleep, happy days!

I stamped a Tim Holtz clock onto some packaging and drew on the time with a sharpie of the routine. The little embellishments are cut out of a cot magazine and the title is from the €2 again!

Do you promise?

I tried to get a sweet naked shot of Eli a few weeks ago but he was having none of it. The lip came out and he  gave me a look as if to say you promised you wouldn't!

Baby card

A quick christening card, didn't have a christening stamp or sentiment but you just have to work with what you have!

You're hilarious

This is a DMVC stack I think, had it years but I still like it, cut pieces out of the flowers for the embellishments and used thickers I got in €2, they are fine for titles and so much cheaper!

Best Buds

Trying to use up some old stash, paper is BG and American Craft thickers. The paper along the bottom is actually wrapping paper, reuse, recycle and all that!

Cards

A quick valentines card from some die cuts I have and forgot about! Owl die is sizzlit and a papermania leave punch

A house warming card for Amy, very much grab what ever I could see and throw it on...it shows too!

Altered Canvas

I needed a housewarming present for Amy and I thought I was in a crafty mood. About 1/2 into it I realised I wasn't and was just getting cross with myself because I didn't like what I was doing. It's still missing something but it's needed for tomorrow so will have to do. Just hope the rough paste in the corner dries in time!

PTI & Basic Grey Cards

Same stamp and sentiment from PTI and Basic Grey paper that I forgot I had. It's always nice to find something you had completely forgotten you had!

Altered tag

A tag I got to make today. The image is from graphic 45 steampunk pack with a Tim Holtz film strip mounted on rubbish plastic. The altered piece is made from fimo and the ticket stub is my new PTI die with Tim Holtz admit one stamp, a little small but it will do! Thanks for the butcher twine Emma I love it!

More of Master Eli

Taken in a dark bathroom with an iphone does not lead to good quality photos, Fimo embellishments made from moulds and rubbed with goldfinger (thanks Anne!) I in vain tried to make a parrot out of TH bird die but it really didnt work! Used DMVC Once Upon a Time stack, it's too pretty to use but alot of the time you have to cut it up to use it

Love this LO, TH lost and found stack (again!!) with TH tattered flowers die cut out of a dictionary. Hope DH doesnt want to play scrabble any time soon! The clock and flower centre piece are fimo embellishments I made and the bling is from an old necklace

Few more for the Book of Firsts

1st time meeting Amy & Richie (godparents)

1st vest- actual vest, it fit into 8x8 with room to spare!

1st Socks- actual socks, at 3 months he finally grew out of them but is now in limbo because new born socks are still massive for him

Could never thank the nurses in SCBU for the care and cuddles they gave Eli, still get a lump thinking about how kind and thoughtful they were. They do such an amazing job, if I hadn't picked a career I would be doing  Special Care Nursing after seeing the amazing job they did

You at 3 months

This is me trying to go through my hoards of paper and just use it, I've far too much to be picky now! On a good note, Eli is bigger than the deodorant can now!

Call it what you will but I love it!!

Made from Fimo and a mould and it's so easy but gorgeous!

I will def be keeping an eye out for lil bits to fill my new boxes!

Book of 1st's

4 that I managed to get done this morning. Nearly finished all the hospital photos thank Christ because it was getting depressing there! 

My tape dispenser rocks!

Take 1 sheet of 12x12 Lost & found from Tim Holtz ( I used the little square page for a collage look)

Roughly sand your tape dispenser (i used a nail file!) for some grip and cover in modge podge. I only have gloss, really have to get around to getting the matte

Layer on the paper, put a layer of modge podge on. I massaged with my hands as you can tell from my dirty hands. On tricky corners add slits in the paper and fold around the dispenser

Finished- now to add 3 coats of modge podge

One tres cool tape dispenser! 

*Tips- makes sure you push any pockets of MP out from behind the paper.

Don't use thin paper or too thick card, it won't work

After the first coat of MP check on it to make sure none of it has lifted

Offically in <3 with Modge Podge and now I get to peel my fingers for the afternoon!

Lil Eli

Stupid camera is playing up... but a few from my scrap date with Emma today. Even though Eli decided he didn't want me to scrap I still got 2 done, very quickly might I add :) The flash washed the colours out in the LO's

Secret Smile

I had to think how to spell Smile and shouted into DH "smile is s-l-i-m-e isn't it".Silence.
 "Think about that he says..."
I nearly gave Eli a secret slime lol

I signed up to STS (scrap, theme, sketch blog) and they have a brilliant pack they email you out monthly for inspiration. I just got mine (after I scrapped this) but the LO is nearly the same as their sketch for January.... weird!! So I'll use this :)

Family first Christmas

I was going to do a sentimental page but then I though ahh hell let's go tacky!! And sometimes that's the best way for Christmas, I put the journalling on Santa's beard and used some cheap foam stickers for Christmas, still haven't got a decent family photo after 14 weeks!

Birthday Card

Saw a youtube video of Rachelo113 on youtube for a halloween inspired slider card and got inspired. I had to make a card for a friend for her birthday and really wanted to get durty so just went for it.

I used the new Tim Holtz Holiday Stack *Thanks Louise I LOVE it! and stamped and gessoed it and of course stickles. Trying to make a card for a birthday this time of year is very hard not to make it festive themed but I'm sure it's horrible having a birthday so close to christmas! The lock is one I made with Anne out of clay from a Tim Holtz mould *Anne we have to get together and make aload more of them, I wont make them by myself!

Instead of stamping happy birthday I tore a page from the dictionary for B and gessoed around everything except birthday and put it on a ----yokie, cant remember the name of those little bits of plastic*mummy brain
